Town Hall by Bottaccio Receives Prestigious Great British Brands Award in Its First Year
A cultural vision recognised. We celebrate Town Hall winning the Great British Brands Award in its inaugural year, uniting architectural heritage with London’s creative future.
By Emilie Edberg, Managing Partner
When we first conceived Town Hall by Bottaccio, our ambition reached far beyond the restoration of a historic building or the opening of another event space in London. From the outset, we dreamed of creating a voice.
A voice for creativity. A platform for innovation. A place rooted in British heritage, yet unapologetically future-facing.
To have that vision recognised from the Great British Brands Award by Country & Town House in our very first year of opening is a moment of profound pride for our entire team.
Town Hall was never intended to be just a set of four walls and a roof. From day one, our ambition was to build a cultural platform, a new London destination that would serve as a home for ideas, conversation, design, performance and community.
Situated in one of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving districts of the world, Town Hall reflects the energy of modern Britain — entrepreneurial, creative, diverse — while respecting the architectural heritage that defines so much of our national identity.
We believe spaces shape culture. And when designed with intention, they can amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard. That belief is embedded in everything we do.

Joining a Legacy of Excellence
The Great British Brands Award celebrates the very best of British design, craftsmanship, innovation and heritage. Past honourees include global titans such as Rolls-Royce, Barbour, and Vivienne Westwood — brands that have defined British excellence for generations.
To see Town Hall recognised alongside such historic institutions is both humbling and energising. These are companies that embody longevity, craftsmanship and bold creative thinking. They represent a standard. A benchmark. A legacy.
For a young brand like ours to stand in that company, in our first year, is a testament to the vision behind the project and to the extraordinary people who brought it to life.
Awards are never won alone.
They are built through long nights, difficult decisions, relentless problem-solving and an unwavering belief in the mission. They are the product of architects, designers, builders, operators, creatives and partners who share a common ambition.
Town Hall is the result of individuals that refused to compromise on quality, experience or vision. From the restoration of historic details to pushing the boundaries by integrating cutting-edge production capabilities, from programming cultural conversations to hosting global brands, every detail was considered through one lens: what is the highest expression of what this could be? Receiving the Great British Brands Award affirms that commitment.

Standing Alongside Icons
What makes British brands globally admired has always been their ability to honour tradition while evolving and staying relevant. At Town Hall, we share that philosophy.
Our architecture respects history, our programming embraces the future, and our partnerships reimagine the intersection of culture, business, technology and design.
We see Town Hall as a living institution; constantly evolving. A space where heritage is not preserved behind glass but activated.
We extend our sincere thanks to the judging panel of the Great British Brands Awards and to editor extraordinaire Dylan Jones, alongside esteemed judges including Caroline Rush, Beverley Knight, Philip Colbert, José Miguel Sokoloff, Dr Nicola Hudson and Simogetta Rigo. Their recognition carries weight not simply because of the award itself, but because of what it represents: trust.
Trust that what we are building contributes meaningfully to Britain’s cultural and creative landscape. Trust that our ambition aligns with the values of excellence, innovation and integrity.
That trust matters deeply to us.

A Benchmark for the Future
If there is one thing we are certain of, it is this: this award is not the destination. It is a milestone.
Town Hall was designed to be dynamic; a platform for festivals, conferences, performances, brand launches, artistic collaborations and civic conversations. A place where ideas collide and new ventures are born.
Our ambition extends far beyond a physical space. We are building a network, a community, an ecosystem around creativity and innovation. Britain has always produced brands that punch above their weight on the global stage. Brands that combine craft with courage. Legacy with disruption.
To be recognised as part of that narrative in our inaugural year is an honour that fuels our next chapter.
To everyone who believed in this project, from partners to clients to guests, this recognition belongs to you as much as to us.
And to our team: this is your moment. The future ahead is incredibly exciting. And we are only just getting started.
