The young people in our lives are constantly being told that AI will take their jobs, degrees no longer matter and they’re already behind. OffScript offers a different perspective.
Taking over Town Hall for a full-day summit, OffScript brings together inspiring founders, creators, entrepreneurs and industry leaders to help young people navigate a rapidly changing world of work with confidence. Rather than another careers fair filled with leaflets and generic advice, this is an immersive learning experience designed to spark ideas, build relationships and create tangible next steps.
Across inspiring talks, honest conversations and practical workshops, attendees will discover career paths they may never have considered, connect directly with people shaping the future of work and leave with tools they can put into action immediately.
Featuring speakers including Jordan Schwarzenberger, Beau Lotto, Pip Jamieson, Clover Hogan and Francesca Moody, OffScript is built around one simple belief: in a world transformed by AI, creativity and new industries, young people don’t need fear—they need opportunity, practical guidance and the confidence to build careers on their own terms.

OffScript is a careers and community platform helping 16 to 25-year-olds and their parents navigate a world of work that no longer follows one predictable route. It counters fear around AI and job losses with realistic optimism, encouraging young people to stay curious, adaptable and ready to create opportunities.
Through events, workshops and ongoing programmes, OffScript connects its community with founders, creators, employers, useful ideas and one another, offering practical skills, honest stories, new networks and access to people they might never otherwise meet.
Off Script Summit takes over Town Hall for a day of frank conversations, practical workshops and new thinking about how we work. Part of Vision Festival, three days in September that bring the neighbourhood’s institutions, venues and communities into one programme, presented by Town Hall and shaped with founding partners across the area, Off Script trades polish for honesty, with speakers and sessions built for people rethinking the shape of their working lives.
