Prada will present the thirteenth iteration of Prada Mode at Town Hall, the recently restored landmark in King’s Cross, London, in collaboration with artists Elmgreen & Dragset.
Coinciding with Frieze London, the multi-day event centres on The Audience, an immersive installation that is both a sculptural environment and a meditation on spectatorship in the age of image overload, hyperconnectivity, and attention deficit.
Prada Mode London will include talks, conversations, film screenings, performances, and DJ sets to further explore the idea of spectatorship and open up other modes of thinking about how audiences gather, watch, and respond.
Prada Mode is a contemporary cultural series where visitors journey across art, music, food, and entertainment, engaging in a unique experience. Imagined as a place that augments and extends significant global cultural gatherings, Prada Mode offers guests access to special programmes and content that complement the themes of the host event.
Since 2018, editions have taken place in cities including Miami, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, Moscow, Los Angeles, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul, Abu Dhabi, and Osaka, featuring works and installations by artists, directors, and photographers such as Damien Hirst, Martine Syms, Jia Zhang-Ke, Theaster Gates, and Kazuyo Sejima.
